A collection of five philatelic reference volumes comprising one hardcover atlas and a four-volume set of softcover catalogues. The primary volume is titled The Stamp Atlas, authored by W. Raife Wellsted, Stuart Rossiter, and John Flower, featuring an introduction by the American Philatelic Society. This volume is bound in a hardcover with an illustrated dust jacket displaying a red and blue diagonal-striped border reminiscent of airmail stationery and a central map graphic. A yellow adhesive tape remnant is present near the top edge of the front cover. A white rectangular adhesive label on the lower front cover is printed with the text NUERNBERG HIGH SCHOOL and a barcode above the number 3 4407 00017 5031.
The accompanying set consists of four large-format paperback volumes titled Stanley Gibbons Simplified Catalogue, Stamps of the World. The spines are printed with the series title and the phrase IN FOUR VOLUMES in a blue pennant graphic, set against a white and orange colour scheme. Stanley Gibbons is a documented British philatelic firm and these volumes serve as standard reference works for global postage stamp identification.
