Lot 165: Green, Cottage with Wildflower Garden, Watercolor on Paper
A traditional landscape watercolor on paper depicting a white-washed cottage with three prominent tall chimneys. Condition report:
The watercolor appears to be in good overall condition with no visible signs of fading or foxing (photo 1). There is a slight rippling or cockling to the paper sheet, consistent with the watercolor medium (photo 1). The mount is clean and the wooden frame shows only minor surface wear and light abrasions to the edges.
