Lot 13: Orion 8 x 20 Compact Binoculars with Case
A pair of compact metal binoculars marked on the left prism cover with printed text reading ORION over COATED OPTICS, and on the right prism cover reading 8 X 20 over FIELD 5 degrees. The body is constructed with silver-tone and black enamelled metal sections, featuring an adjustable central hinge fitted with a graduated scale marked to 64, an integrated black braided neck cord, and round synthetic eyecups. Accompanied by a fitted light brown textured faux-leather carrying case with stitched seams, edge piping, a fabric lining, and a metal snap fastener. No measurement scale or ruler is present in the photographs.
Condition report:
Minor surface rubbing and edge wear to the black enamelled metal frame (photo 1 and photo 2). The faux-leather case shows creasing, light surface scuffs, and fraying along the upper inner lining edges (photo 1). Optical alignment and mechanical movement are untested.
