Lot 584: Large Rectangular Gilt Framed Full Length Dressing Mirror
A large rectangular full-length dressing mirror featuring a gilt-finished frame. The frame is designed with a rounded profile and a decorative beaded inner edge bordering the mirror plate. The gilt finish displays a consistent metallic gold-tone colour. A small white rectangular adhesive label is attached to the bottom left corner of the mirror plate, containing black characters that are not legible. The mirror glass is clear and shows no signs of foxing or silvering loss. The frame construction appears secure with tight mitre joints.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition. There is minor surface wear and small scuffs to the gilt finish consistent with age and use (photo 1). The mirror plate is clear and free from visible clouding or degradation.
