A contemporary mixed media work on a square-format stretched canvas featuring a monochromatic composition in shades of silver and white. The piece is dominated by heavy sculptural textures including a large teardrop-shaped field filled with a dense, maze-like vermicular relief and a horizontal band of raised white pebble-like forms that bisects the lower section. A smaller square of similar relief pebbles is positioned in the lower-left corner against a field of gestural metallic paint that allows the underlying canvas weave to remain visible. The work is unframed with the metallic ground extending onto the sides of the canvas. A small orange rectangular adhesive sticker is present in the lower-left corner bearing the hand-written figures 4.99. No other maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the front or edges of the work.
Condition report:
The painting is in excellent contemporary condition. The high-relief elements are intact with no visible signs of chipping, cracking, or paint loss. The canvas tension appears good and there are no visible repairs or surface damage. Minor surface dust is present within the textured recesses (photo 1).
