Lot 634: Montblanc Meisterstuck Gold-Plated Classique Ballpoint Pen with Original Box and Service Guide
A Montblanc ballpoint pen featuring a black precious resin barrel and cap with gold-plated trim. The pen is equipped with a twist-action mechanism and features the signature triple-ring centre band and a gold-plated clip. It is presented in its original rectangular black presentation box which has a cream-coloured satin lid lining and a black fabric-lined base. The lot includes a black booklet with a textured surface, printed in white with the words Service Guide above a stylized six-pointed star logo and the name MONT BLANC stacked vertically. The pen appears to be the Classique model based on proportions. While a band of text is visible on the central gold-plated ring, the specific characters are not legible at this resolution.
Condition report:
The pen appears to be in very good condition. The black resin body maintains a high-polish finish with no visible cracks, chips, or deep scratches (photo 1). The gold-plated furniture, including the clip and rings, appears intact without significant brassing or pitting. The presentation box shows minimal shelf wear, and the interior satin and fabric linings are clean. The functionality of the twist mechanism and the ink level of the refill have not been tested.
