Lot 605: An Assortment of Contemporary Bohemian and Ethnic Style Costume Jewellery
A large group of contemporary costume jewellery in various bohemian and ethnic-inspired styles. The collection includes a prominent bib necklace featuring turquoise-coloured composite beads and gold-tone sequin detailing. Also present are multiple multi-strand beaded necklaces in shades of red, purple, and amber, alongside a large circular black resin or plastic pendant. Other items include several shell-effect and faux-pearl necklaces, various base metal chains in gold-tone and silver-tone finishes, and beaded cord bracelets. The materials comprise glass, plastic, resin, fabric, and base metal. A small white rectangular adhesive label with the handwritten numerals 17 17 is applied to the exterior of the clear plastic bag. No maker’s names or signatures are visible on the individual items through the packaging.
Condition report:
The collection is presented unsorted in a single clear plastic bag, resulting in visible tangling of chains and cords throughout the lot (photo 1). Surface wear, including light scratches to the large black resin pendant and various beads, is visible through the plastic. The items have not been individually inspected for completeness, functional clasps, or missing components.
