Lot 547: A contemporary black and white striped upholstered small chaise longue
A contemporary two-seater settee or small chaise longue featuring an asymmetrical backrest. The piece is upholstered in a vertically striped fabric in black and off-white, accented with white cord piping along the seams and perimeter. The design features a tight seat and a wrap-around back and arms, creating a clean silhouette. It is supported by four short, square-tapered wooden feet with a dark-stained finish. A rectangular orange adhesive label is present on the right-hand arm; the text is not legible as a name. No other marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the exterior of the piece.
Condition report:
The settee is in good used condition. The upholstery remains generally taut across the frame, although there is a small visible snag or loose thread on the left side of the seat cushion area (photo 1). The wooden feet show minor surface scuffing and dust consistent with use and storage on a concrete floor (photo 1). No significant staining, fading, or structural damage is visible.
