Lot 423: A Trio of Contemporary Battery-Operated Quartz Wall Clocks Including a Time Gallery Example
A group of three modern wall clocks with quartz movements. The first clock is a rectangular wall clock with a black composite frame and light-toned wood-effect veneer side panels. The rectangular silver-toned dial features a printed black Roman numeral XII at the twelve o’clock position and line indices elsewhere. The dial is printed with the text TIME GALLERY and QUARTZ. A white adhesive label with the printed number 17 is attached to the side panel. The second clock is a square wall clock featuring a silver-toned frame with a textured glitter finish. The white square dial is set with large black Roman numerals and ornate black hour and minute hands. The third clock is a large round wall clock with a pink-toned rim and a brushed silver-toned dial. It features raised three-dimensional Arabic numerals, black hands, and a red second hand. The dial has a white adhesive label with the number 17 and an orange adhesive label with the handwritten characters 423. The round clock is oriented at a ninety-degree angle in the photograph.
Condition report:
All clocks show minor signs of surface wear and dust consistent with age and use. The rectangular clock has visible dust on the glass and frame. The round clock shows minor surface scuffs on the rim. All items are untested and sold as seen; battery compartments have not been inspected and batteries are not included.
