Lot 363: Three Plush Soft Toys Comprising Two Teddy Bears and a Dog
A trio of plush soft toys of varying designs. The first is a light peach-coloured teddy bear in a seated pose, featuring black plastic bead eyes, a brown stitched nose, and a wide gold-coloured satin ribbon tied at the neck. The second is a mid-brown teddy bear, also in a seated pose, with black plastic bead eyes, a brown plush textured nose, and a gold-coloured satin ribbon. The third toy is a white shaggy-haired plush dog with long crimped fur to the head and ears and shorter plush to the body, finished with black bead eyes, a black plastic nose, and green and yellow patterned ribbons at the ears. Each toy is constructed from synthetic plush fabrics with internal stuffing.
Identifying marks include small orange rectangular adhesive labels applied to a foot of each toy, printed with the number 363. Small white rectangular adhesive labels are present on the ribbon of the brown bear and the left foot of the peach bear, both printed with the number 17. A white paper manufacturer’s label is attached to the white dog and bears printed text including all parts, for months, for future reference., KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE, and a reference number No. X-92813. A fabric brand tag is present behind the paper label, but the manufacturer’s name is not legible.
Condition report:
The toys are in good overall condition with signs of light handling. Multiple adhesive auction or inventory stickers are attached directly to the plush fabric and ribbons (photo 1), which may leave a tacky residue upon removal. The white dog exhibits minor matting and clumping to the longer crimped fur on the head and ears (photo 1). Occasional surface dust and lint are present consistent with display.
