Lot 298: A Contemporary Gilt Resin Angel Wing Wine Bottle Holder with a Bottle of Eisberg Alcohol Free Merlot
A contemporary decorative wine bottle holder crafted from cast resin with a metallic gold-toned finish. The piece is designed in the form of two outstretched feathered wings that create a cradle for a standard wine bottle, all supported by a stepped square base. The holder includes a sealed bottle of Eisberg Alcohol Free Signature Merlot. There are no maker’s marks visible on the holder itself. A white adhesive lot sticker bearing the numeral 12 is attached to the base of the holder and another to the shoulder of the bottle. The bottle label is printed with the text EISBERG ALCOHOL FREE SIGNATURE MERLOT WINEMAKER’S CHOICE and includes a printed signature that is not legible as a specific name.
Condition report:
The metallic gold finish shows minor surface wear and scuffing, particularly along the raised edges of the feathers and the corners of the base (photo 1). Casting seams are visible where the wings join the base (photo 1). There is a minor accumulation of dust within the textured details of the feathers. The bottle remains sealed and in good condition.
