Lot 225: An Assortment of Ladies Fashion Handbags including a Guess Satchel
An assortment of contemporary ladies fashion handbags and accessories. The collection includes a navy blue satchel-style bag with a patent-finish synthetic body and a laser-cut perforated pattern to the front panel. It is fitted with dual rolled top handles and gold-tone hardware; the metal plates at the base of the handles are engraved with the name GUESS. Also present is a structured tri-colour panelled tote bag constructed from white, hot pink, and pink and black faux-snakeskin synthetic materials. The front features a large gold-tone V-shaped metal plaque with stud detailing and it has dual hot pink handles. Further items in the lot include a circular bright pink woven textile bag with cream-coloured fringe and gold-tone bead accents, a navy and white horizontally striped fabric bag, a tan-coloured fringed textile bag, and a portion of a grey synthetic leather bag.
Condition report:
The navy patent satchel exhibits visible surface scratches and scuffing to the patent material, particularly on the lower front panel, alongside a light accumulation of dust (photo 1). The tri-colour panelled tote shows minor creasing to the synthetic panels consistent with handling (photo 1). The remaining bags show signs of light wear commensurate with use.
