Lot 161: Two Ladies' Coats comprising a Portrait Faux Fur Trimmed Coat and a Chinese-made Centigrade Open-Front Coat
Two ladies’ coats in varied styles. The first is a black faux fur coat featuring an oversized collar and front opening trimmed with animal-print faux fur in tawny and dark brown shades. The interior is finished with a smooth black textile lining. At the interior neck is a sewn-in black fabric label with the word PORTRAIT in white capitals above a circular logo containing a stylised P. The second garment is a Chinese-made burgundy open-front coat featuring plush faux shearling lapels and textured knit panels. The design includes two side vertical welt pockets. A black fabric label at the interior neck bears the text CENTIGRADE in white capitals followed by a trademark symbol, positioned above a size L indicator and the origin mark MADE IN CHINA.
Condition report:
Both garments appear in good pre-owned condition. Minor creasing is visible to the black textile lining of the Portrait coat (photo 1). The faux fur and shearling-effect trims on both items appear well-maintained with no visible matting or losses. No stains, tears, or damage to the fabric are observed in the provided photographs.
