Lot 152: A small iridescent crackle lustre glass vase
A small, hand-blown art glass vase of flattened globular form with a short, narrow, and flared neck. The exterior is finished with a multi-tonal iridescent metallic lustre, applied in segmented patches of gold, ruby red, and deep purple. Each coloured section features a fine, intricate crackle or crocodile skin texture. The interior of the neck displays a continuation of the golden iridescent finish. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces shown.
Approximately 90mm in diameter at the widest point, with a total height of approximately 105mm.
Condition report:
The vase appears to be in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or bruises to the glass (photo 1). The iridescent surface remains bright and intact with no obvious signs of wear or rubbing.
