A set of mid-twentieth century style kitchenware crafted from enamelled metal in a saturated primary red. The collection includes a tall, tapered coffee pot with a pointed spout and a large D-shaped black handle. The pot is topped with a matching red lid featuring a black rim and a small circular finial. The set is accompanied by several matching small handled cups and a stack of coordinating saucers, all finished in a glossy red enamel both internally and externally. The lid of the coffee pot bears two adhesive labels: a white rectangular sticker printed with the number 25 and a yellow rectangular sticker with the number 123. A similar yellow adhesive sticker with the number 123 is present on the top saucer of the stack. One cup features the price 3.00 written in white marker on the interior base. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on any of the pieces.
Condition report:
The set is in used condition with visible signs of wear. There is significant enamel loss and chipping at the tip of the coffee pot spout, exposing the dark metal substrate (photo 1). Further chipping is evident along the lower rim of the coffee pot base (photo 1). The cups and saucers show minor surface scratches and general wear consistent with age. There is adhesive residue from price stickers and white marker writing present on the interior of one cup.
