Lot 97: A Set of Clear Pressed Glass Cups and Saucers
A set of clear pressed glass tea or coffee service pieces, comprising multiple cups and matching saucers. Each cup is constructed with a distinctive faceted exterior consisting of vertical rectangular panels and an integral D-shaped handle. The saucers feature a corresponding pattern of indented facets around the rim. One cup bears an orange rectangular adhesive label with the handwritten characters L6. No embossed maker’s names are legible on the glass surfaces from the provided orientation.
Condition report:
The glassware appears to be in good used condition with light surface scratching and minor scuffing consistent with domestic use and stacking (Photo 1). No significant chips or cracks are visible on the rims or handles in the overview.
