A 9ct yellow gold necklace featuring a circular hinged locket pendant. The front cover of the locket is decorated with an engraved foliate and floral motif surrounding a central vacant shield-shaped cartouche. The interior is fitted with a blue fabric lining and a single metal retaining rim. The pendant is suspended from a fine yellow gold trace-link chain, which is secured with a standard spring ring clasp. An oval tag near the clasp is stamped 375.
Total weight: 4.24g.
Condition report:
The item is in good vintage condition. The locket hinge and clasp are in working order. There is light surface scratching and wear to the metal consistent with age. The interior fabric lining shows minor signs of fading.
