Lot 278: A Large Scalloped Pagoda Form Fabric Lampshade with Fringe Trim
A large vintage lampshade of scalloped pagoda form, suitable for a floor or large table lamp. The shade is constructed from a peach-coloured textured synthetic fabric stretched over a metal wire frame, finished with a matching long fringe trim to the lower scalloped edge. On the lower edge of the shade is a small white adhesive label with the printed letters L L. A small orange adhesive sticker with handwritten characters 2.75 is adhered to the main body. No manufacturer marks or brand names are visible.
Condition report:
The shade is in fair vintage condition. The fabric shows light surface spotting and a general accumulation of dust. The orange price sticker is adhered directly to the fabric and may leave a residue if removed. The fringe trim is largely intact but displays some minor tangling and unevenness. The internal frame appears structurally sound.
