Lot 183a: An Assortment of Homebrewing Equipment and Bottles
A group of homebrewing equipment and supplies suitable for beverage production. The lot includes a large-capacity fermentation vessel constructed from opaque white plastic, featuring a black screw-top lid fitted with a metal nozzle and valve assembly, and a side-mounted outlet. A rectangular white label on the side of the vessel is printed with the numerals 1 8 1 8. Also included is a manual bench-mounted bottle capper featuring a cast metal head finished in blue, an adjustable steel vertical rod with a spring-loaded mechanism, and a pressed metal base, all secured to a longitudinal wooden plank. An assortment of brown glass bottles suitable for beer or cider is provided, contained within two plastic carrier bags, one of which is a green and white branded bag and the other a blue bag. Orange auction labels marked 1 8 3 A are present on the vessel and the wooden capper base.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition. The plastic fermentation vessel shows surface scuffing and minor discolouration from use. The bench capper exhibits surface wear and light oxidation to the metal base and mounting hardware but appears to be in functional order. The glass bottles are used and will require thorough cleaning and sanitisation before reuse.
