Lot 104: An Assortment of American Brilliant Period Style Cut Glass Tableware
A collection of clear cut glass and lead crystal tableware featuring various traditional mitre-cut geometric patterns. The group includes a large pedestal bowl with a scalloped rim, decorated with repeating diamond and starburst motifs. Also present is a shallow circular flower arranger or rose bowl, featuring a pattern of radiating fans and stars with a serrated rim, complete with its original removable silver-toned wire mesh grid. A smaller deep serving dish with an integral handle and cross-hatched decoration contains a separate clear glass liner. Several other clear glass components and vessel bases are included in the lot. The items exhibit deep, sharp cutting characteristic of early 20th-century production. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible.
Condition report:
The glass items are in good overall condition with high clarity. No significant chips, cracks, or restorations are visible from the provided images. The wire mesh grid for the flower arranger shows light surface oxidation. Typical minor shelf wear and light surface scratches are present on the bases of the pieces.
