Lot 80: A Large Vintage Hand Cut Lead Crystal Basket in the Pinwheel Pattern
A substantial lead crystal basket featuring deep intaglio hand-cut decoration in the pinwheel pattern. The body is adorned with multiple rotating star motifs, complemented by fan-cut sections and cross-hatched diamond patterns. The vessel features a serrated sawtooth rim and an arched crystal handle with notched detailing. The material shows high clarity and brilliance, characteristic of heavy lead crystal. There is an orange adhesive label on the interior marked with the handwritten number 80.

Condition report:
The crystal appears bright and clear with no visible internal cloudiness. The serrated rim and handle edges appear largely intact from the perspective shown, with no significant chips or cracks. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
