An assortment of large garden planters in varying forms and finishes. The group includes a cream-glazed ceramic planter featuring a flared rim and a circular relief decoration to the side depicting a leafy sprig. Adjacent is a tall, cylindrical planter with a high-gloss black-glazed finish and a wide flat rim. The collection further comprises a smaller, heavily weathered unglazed ceramic pot and portions of a rectangular grey stone or concrete trough. Small white identification labels are affixed to the rims of several pieces with handwritten characters including L L, 7, and 7 7. No factory marks or maker’s stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
All items are in used outdoor condition. The cream-glazed planter has minor surface scuffing and ingrained dirt. The black-glazed planter shows a clean glaze with internal dust and cobwebs. The unglazed pot and stone trough exhibit heavy weathering, mineral deposits, and organic debris consistent with prolonged garden use.
