Lot 468: A Collection of Miniature Crested China Souvenirs and Two Shamrock Collectibles Irish Porcelain Dolls
This lot comprises an assortment of souvenir porcelain miniatures and two collector dolls. The miniature collection includes approximately 15-20 items of crested china, a type of souvenir pottery featuring transfer-printed municipal coats of arms. Visible forms in this collection include a teapot, an anvil, a boot, a miniature toilet, various jugs, and plates. One mug is marked for Margate, and other pieces feature heraldic crests and floral motifs, including one plate with a central portrait miniature. The two dolls are produced by Shamrock Collectibles and are from an Irish-themed series. Each doll is constructed with a bisque porcelain head and hands and a cloth body.
