Lot 455: Two Telephones including a Red GPO 746 Rotary Phone and a White BT Push Button Phone
A lot of two telephones comprising a red GPO Model 746 rotary phone and a white BT corded telephone. The GPO 746 is constructed from red moulded plastic components with a ten-hole rotary dial mechanism and a clear plastic finger wheel. The central dial card is printed with emergency call instructions reading FIRE DIAL POLICE 999 AMBULANCE. The BT telephone is a corded unit in white moulded plastic, featuring a push-button keypad, an integrated digital LCD screen, and various function controls. The handset of the white unit displays the BT logo. Both items include their respective handset cords and are presented within a cardboard box.
Condition report:
The red telephone exhibits significant surface dust and multiple minor scuffs and scratches to the plastic casing. Its central paper dial card is yellowed with age. The white telephone shows general signs of use, including light surface dust and minor scuffing. Both units are sold as seen and are untested for functionality.
