Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

A collection of Arts and Crafts style metalware, primarily comprising tea and coffee service items. The group includes three teapots or coffee pots of graduated sizes, each featuring a tapering cylindrical form with a hand-hammered finish, flat hinged lids surmounted by hexagonal nut-style finials, and wicker-bound handles. Also included is a tall, flared-rim cylindrical vessel, possibly a milk jug or vase, showing a silver-plated finish over a copper or brass base metal. The lot further contains a cream jug with a white ceramic liner, a small footed bowl, a funnel, and various small vessels and lids. The items are constructed from a mix of pewter and silver-plated base metals.

Largest pot height: approximately 18-20cm
Estimated total weight: 4-7kg.

Condition report:

The items are in used, unrestored condition with significant surface tarnish, oxidation, and patina throughout. There is visible wear and loss to the silver plating on several pieces, revealing the base metal beneath. The wicker binding on the handles shows signs of fraying, darkening, and wear. One pot lid displays a prominent yellowish-brown residue or stain. General surface scratches, small indentations, and signs of age-related wear are present across the collection.
