Lot 189a: Large Reversible Hand-Woven Chunky Wool Rug
A large, heavy-weight hand-woven wool rug. The textile features a coarse, chunky loop-weave construction and is reversible, with one face in a mottled charcoal grey and the reverse in a light cream or beige tone. The edges are finished with a contrasting blanket-stitch border, featuring light-coloured stitching on the dark side and dark-coloured stitching on the light side. A small white adhesive label is present on the cream-coloured face with the literal transcription 11 11, adjacent to a small orange circular adhesive sticker.
