Buyer's Premium:

This collection comprises an assortment of vintage serving pieces and kitchen tools, including both cased sets and individual items. Featured items include a three-piece George Butler and Co cheese serving set, consisting of a knife, server, and fork with white pearlescent celluloid handles, housed in its original blue-lined presentation case. The blades are marked George Butler and Co, Trinity Works Sheffield England, Non-Stain. The lot also includes a Norwegian pewter serving spoon by Konge-Tinn, featuring a cast handle decorated with Viking-style figures, presented in its original box. A vintage Master tin opener and sardine server is included in its original illustrated cardboard box. Further items include a pair of small cased silver-toned spoons with square-profile bowls in a light blue patterned box. Among the loose pieces is a large serving spoon with an ornate scrollwork handle and a shell-shaped bowl featuring a gold-toned wash. The collection is rounded out by a large knife with a turned wooden handle and decorative metal ferrule, a handle with a floral ceramic sleeve, and various other utensils including sugar tongs and a small spoon marked H-Produkter. Materials include stainless steel, pewter, silver plate, wood, ceramic, and early plastics.

Condition report:

The items show general signs of age and use. Metal components exhibit varying degrees of tarnishing and surface wear, most notably on the gilded bowl of the large serving spoon. The original boxes show significant shelf wear, edge rubbing, and some staining. The George Butler fork tines show minor alignment issues. The wooden handle on the large knife shows some surface wear consistent with age.
